SKI EXTRAS SPECIALS Special Offers on Lift Tickets, Ski rental, Resort transfers & Excursions | We have 18 customer reviewsJackson Hole "Snow King Resort is fine if folk want a half day or a late start and is cheap as buttons. Watching local Ice Hockey is $8 and a good evening’s entertainment. Hoback Sports opposite the Cowboy Village is great; staff really friendly and helpful. Sports Authority over the road has some really good sale stuff, especially with current rate of exchange. The Photo Galleries in town are definitely worth a visit to see / buy some amazing photos. Day trip to Targhee is also recommended for variety, would be fantastic on a Powder Day, and nice choice for beginners or families on a warm day. Snowmobiling to Yellowstone is recommended, but be prepared to travel long distance and a tiring day. Also choose a warm day if possible." CF - Aberdeen Date: Feb 2007 Cowboy Village Resort "Cowboy Village is great, cabins are really nice, but cooking facilities very basic; two burner hob and microwave, but we got by. Breakfasts are not quite continental by continental standards; cereal and bagels, so got a bit boring." C F - Aberdeen Date: Feb 2007 Mountain Thunder Lodge "Mountain Thunder Lodge was fabulous accommodation, really well appointed condos and very helpful staff. The shuttle service into town and the lifts was really useful. although it was easy to walk into town too, about 5 mins (not in ski boots)." S F - Leeds Date: Mar 2007 Breckenridge "Just to say thank you very much for organising our trip to Breckenridge. It was, as the Americans would say, awesome. The skiing was great, no queues beautiful pistes and masses of miles of runs. So thank you very much, we are very satisfied customers." S F - Leeds Date: Mar 2007 fernie canada "we love this resort one of the best we have been to. The skiing is fantasic and the local poeple are very welcoming. The snowmobile experience was great as was the day to big mountain. We highly recommend this resort to skiers and boarders of all ages and levels. This year will be our fourth and although we have skied all over we love Fernie." Linda & John Hynes - Fife Scotland Breck has something for everyone "This will be my 5th season at Breckenridge. The great strength of Breck - apart from the massive depth of snow - is that the terrain is suitable for the full range of skiing ability from complete novice to powder-hound and couloir nutter and the quality of instruction is very good all the way up to Level 9 both technically and in inter-personal skills. Also, there is always a quorum for the upper level ski classes - in France it is almost impossible to get on to a group lesson for advanced skiers. Breck has a well-designed mix of uncrowded and meticulously groomed long runs from the top of the mountain, comprising wide pistes of accurately designated pitch from the almost flat greens that my wife loves so dearly through easy blues to steeper blue-blacks to exciting black diamond runs. For the more adventurous there are the double black diamond steeps and deeps off-piste, the unpisted bump slopes, the tree-skiing and huge bowls as steep or gentle as you like to practice your powder skiing in. Climb up the 6o degree hillside above the 1300ft Imperial Chair and you can check out the graduated range of couloirs on offer. They look a lot steeper from above! The runs all meet at the bottom so skiers of different abilities can take different routes back to the base and meet up again at the lifts. The peaks 8 and 9 are inter-connected with high speed chairs and green or blue ski routes so getting round the slopes is fast and easy - if you can read a map and the helpful big signposts. The network of frequent free in-town and inter-resort buses and the gondola from the central bus station to peak 7/8 enables easy access to the slopes and also to multiple nearby ski hills covered by your ski-pass (Keystone, Arapahoe Basin), Copper Mountain (20 minute free bus from Frisco but get a half price 1-day extension to your lift pass) and as far away as Vail and Beaver Creek (on the pass but you pay $20 round trip for the bus). The variety of skiing available is wonderful. All the resorts do introductory/orientation tours of their mountains at 10am most days but I am still coming back to Breck year after year. It is a great base for the area and the choice of restaurants and bars to suit all pockets and preferences, all within easy walking distance of the centre is quite mind-boggling. The further you go away from the centre the cheaper the equipment rental deals are. Don't forget your helmet this year, especially if you are planning jigging around in the trees! If you are self-catering there is a huge supermarket which is on most of the bus routes and other smaller markets around the town. Check out the local Enterprise car rental as an alternative to driving 4 hours up the I70 from Denver airport in a blizzard at the end of a long flight. Take the Colorado Mountain Express minibus service from the airport door to door, arrive in one piece and let them worry about finding the apartment for you in the dark! Short term car rental is costly anywhere but the Enterprise monthly rate is an attractive option for long stays not offered by Hertz." Paul Lucke - London Date: 31 Jan 08 - 3 Mar 08 Fantastic "great true slope side accommodation with underground parking, shops, rental and places to eat very close at hand. Friendly staff all over." Alan Moone - London Date: 21/12/2007 + 10 days Fantastic skiing "We limited ourselves to Park City mountain Resort, Deer Valley and the Canyons. Our favourite was Park City as it had a huge amount of terrain and varied runs. We hadn't realised that Deer Valley didn't allow snowboarders so we only went there once as our son only snowboards. The Canyons was a bit of a trek to actually get up the mountain but has lots of skiing when you get there. Park City was the best groomed with lovely ski lodges and facilities and good food." Jan clifford - Nottingham Park City Peaks Hotel "Excellent for our needs. Lovely lodge hotel. Rooms spacious with 2 Queen beds, serviced very well each day.Beautifully decked out for christmas when we were there with constant log fire in the foyer. Very good and cheap evening meals in the restaurant. Breakfast a bit samey though but still good. Staff very friendly. Superb, big, outdoor hot tub. Cookie cart came round to the rooms with hot chocolate and cookies every evening. Staff very friendly and helpful especially with ski storage. Bus transportation is free day and night throughout the resort and buses for all 3 resorts stop right outside the hotel, altho the timetable was a bit unreliable. would definitely recommend the hotel and the resort and we were grateful for the big savings on lift tickets which you got for us. Thank you." Jan Clifford - Nottingham Date: 27 Dec 2007 to Jan 5 2008 Equipment Hire "The equipment hire at Christy Sports in Breckenridge was great. The staff were helpful. knowledgeable and efficient. They added helmets to our booking for those who wanted them, at no extra cost. No one in our party had to return for ill fitting boots or poor skis. Well done American Ski Classics for using such a good provider." Ted Limb - Nottingham Date: 16 to 26 January '08 J M "I would like to thank you for the holiday you arranged for me and my family to Aspen recently. We enjoyed our stay very much, the accommodation was superb, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Finally, i was truly impressed by the town, the beauty of the Rockies and the ease of the entire trip." J M - London Date: April 2008 Mountain Thunder Lodge/Breckenridge "We have just returned from a great Breckenridge holiday, we have had a great time, Mountain Thunder Lodge was everything we could have wanted well appointed rooms, clean and very comfortable. Near enough to town to walk if you wanted but there is a fantastic shuttle service around town and to and from the lifts but you can ski back to the hotel after a day on the slopes. The staff were very freindly and nothing was too much trouble. Will be going back. Skiing at Breckenridge as something for all levels and we had great weather and enough snow while we were there (although they are a bit low on the white stuff this year so far). Good level of eateries for all price ranges. would recommend this holiday for families, couples, groups something for everyone, even non skiers" J.Jagger - Selby Date: Jan 2010 IP "Just returned from our skiing trip to Breckenridge. Thanks for making the arrangements for us. Everything worked smoothly - CME transfer, hotel, ski hire and lift pass. We very much enjoyed staying at the the Great Divide Lodge, and it has an excellent position just across a car park to the slope. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We hope to be back for more." IP - Breckenridge Date: 2-2-10 S S "We had a fantastic time in Utah. The organization of it went without any hiccups at all. We would like to say a big thank-you to yourself and American Ski Classics for everything. I remember you saying you had not used Prospector Square Lodge previously, the rooms are spacious and kept very clean, shame reception was not open longer but still it was convenient location to all ski areas, serviced by the free shuttle.
