The 3 ski areas of Lake Louise, Mt. Norquay & Sunshine Village feature more than 240 runs on over 7,700 acres of skiable terrain. Each has a unique character and the three are available on one convenient interchangeable lift ticket which includes frequent and worry-free shuttle transportation between the hotels and each ski area.

World famous dry Canadian Rockies powder is available for one of the longest, most consistent ski/snowboard seasons in the world with opening in early November and operations until late in May each year. Combined with some of the best value ski holidays to Canada, Lake Louise remains a popular choice with many skiers returning year after year.

This winter, 2020/21 - Lake Louise Ski Resort is serving up brand new in-bounds terrain for the first time in 25 years! Previous sidecountry and backcountry slopes found just beyond the former ski resort limits will now be accessible to resort guests. And it’s all thanks to adjusted boundary lines and a brand new quad chairlift.

West Bowl terrain carries intermediate, advanced, and expert ratings, and is divided into zones rather than cut runs. This gives skiers and riders endless possibilities of natural routes and fall lines through steeps, powder bowls and gladed tree areas. After taking your pick, all terrain naturally funnels into a newly built egress. This two-kilometre path channels back to the junction of Men’s Downhill and Juniper Jungle on the front side. From here, it’s just a short ski down to the base. Although West Bowl is now considered in-bounds terrain, it is recommended that skiers and boarders continue to carry avalanche safety gear in this area and acquire the training to use it correctly.

Panorama ed

Panorama Mountain rises 4,000 vertical feet above true slope-side lodging and giant hot pools, but it's not until you reach the summit that the real scale of the terrain becomes apparent. Below, are Canada's longest groomed fall-line cruisers and legendary 'backcountry style' riding.

Panorama has 2,847 acres of terrain - ranging from wide open fall-line cruisers to powder-filled tree lines and the steep and deep exhilaration in Taynton Bowl.

The ski area is perfect for many skiers as 75% of the runs are suitable for beginners or intermediates. Think wide open groomers, winding down the fall-line from the summit right to the village base area or to the door of your condo.

For black-diamond runs head to the Taynton Bowl. Previously a Heli-skiing tenure, the area is now within bounds, so the slopes are patrolled, avalanche controlled and no backcountry gear is needed. Warm up first as the 700 acre bowl is all black runs. It's a great place to find powder stashes days after a dump.

This season Panorama has created a one-of-a-kind terrain park on Powder Trail. With tons of features and variety, this park is built for serious FUN! Panorama's Rockstar Terrain Park features ski-cross, jumps, hips, spines, rails, boxes and freestyle moguls to accommodate riders of all abilities. With over one kilometre of features, divided into upper and lower sections, our terrain park is the biggest and best in the Kootenay Rockies region.
