The Hotel Mirabeau is quietly but centrally located, a few minutes' walk from the train station and the Gornergrat station. The traditional house, which is famous for its French flair and "Art de vivre", is run with a lot of passion by the third generation of the Julen family.

The wide range of services offers an incomparable resort experience - from culinary encounters in two high-quality restaurant concepts, a fireplace bar and an event location called Josef's Wine Lounge to authentic Alpine wellness - and always in view; the majestic Matterhorn.

Spread over two buildings, the Mirabeau offers 30 double and 5 single rooms, as well as 33 junior suites and 3 suites. Since the last renovation in 2018, all rooms and suites have been equipped with elegant oak parquet, whereby the Alpine Junior Suites offer a local living experience with traditional natural materials such as old fir and larch wood, granite, wool felt, linen and loden, and the rooms and Suites in the main building are designed in European boutique chic. The fresh alpine air can be enjoyed from the balcony, and many of the rooms and suites offer a wonderful view of the village of Zermatt and the Matterhorn.

In the heart of the hotel, the Veranda restaurant serves a gourmet breakfast buffet and an evening tasting menu every day.y If you sign up to a min. 4 night dinner option - you can enjoy fine dining 5 course dinners at a reduced price.

Room Descriptions

SINGLE ROOM
DOUBLE ROOM STANDARD
Standard double rooms are designed with traditional felt and Swiss stone pine and offer beautiful morning sun with a view of the Rothorn and the Mischabel mountain range. The rooms are furnished with either two single beds or a queen-size bed and a sofa. Modern bathroom with shower-bath combination.

DOUBLE ROOM SUPERIOR
The generous double room Superior with 35 square meters offers two single beds or a double bed. The sofa in the open living area can easily be converted into an additional bed. The modern bathroom has a shower-bath combination and a window for freshness and daylight.

DELUXE DOUBLE ROOM MATTERHORN VIEW
The deluxe double rooms with Matterhorn view are designed in boutique chic and have a double bed or two twin beds. The spacious living area can accommodate an extra bed. On the large south-facing balcony or terrace, you can enjoy the gentle afternoon sun, fresh mountain air and a magnificent view of the Matterhorn on lounge chairs.

JUNIOR SUITE
This junior suite consists of two single beds or a double bed, a separate living area with a sofa and an entrance with a dressing niche. The bathroom has a separate toilet and a shower-bath combination. The spacious balcony offers a view of the Michabel mountain range and the morning sun.

ALPINE JUNIOR SUITE
Alpine Junior Suites are modern and luxurious, designed with local natural materials such as old fir and larch wood, granite, ceramics, wool felt, linen and loden. The Alpine Junior Suite has a romantic four-poster bed, a sitting area and an open bathroom with rain shower, bathtub and separate toilet with window.
