Welcome to this alpine hotel with its long family tradition. The Hotel Alpenrose is the first hotel in Wengen that opened it doors in 1881 and has been owned and run by the same family for well over a hundred years.
The hotel is situated in Wengen/Jungfrau Region in a quiet and pleasant location with stunning views into the valley of Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding snow capped mountains.

The 40 rooms and the lounges have been recently renovated and kept in an alpine chalet-style with lots of wood. Along with a log fire the lounge invites you to enjoy a relaxing evening after a long day out and about in the mountains. Start the day with a hearty breakfast from the buffet in the dining room where they also serve a fine set half board meal in the evening. The Hotel Alpenrose is situated about 10 min walk below the train station and the village centre.

The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from the train station and cable cars where all Hotel Alpenrose guests are able to store their equipment for free.

Some rooms offer one large bed, some rooms offer two separate beds pushed together as a double.

Comfortable alpine style double/twin bedded standard rooms south west facing offer private bath/WC, a balcony and a beautiful view of the valley of Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding snow capped mountains.?The facilities include hair dryer, TV, Radio and free Wi-Fi.? These rooms are popular with guests that enjoy having a balcony and the view after a day in the mountains.?Some rooms offer one large bed, some rooms offer two separate beds pushed together as a double.
